VIEWS FROM THE CONDOR 300
The CONDOR 300 is elevated and mountainous. The 300 peaks out at about 3850 feet of elevation, so its climate has more variation than that of the very moderate coast, with occasional snow.
A striking feature of the 300, because of its topography and elevation is the vast view of the surrounding countryside. Some viewpoints look toward the Los Padres National Forest, which abuts the property. At other points, one can see across Carmel Valley, the Arroyo Seco River, even across the Salinas Valley to the Gabilan Range. |
In this photo, two hikers are seen on the CONDOR 300, and looking out over the view of the Sierra De Salinas, the ridge which separates Carmel Valley from the Salinas Valley. The view to the south and east predominates, but there are big views to the north and west, as well.
